I think there are scallions and garlic but other than that, probably just magic and happiness 🤷♀️
13 for lunch, and around 18 for dinner.
The lunch hour is 11 - 3:30
The food here is always great. I'm always impressed with how quickly the staff replaced items as they run out on the buffet line. No matter how busy they are, we always get our good quickly while it's nice and hot. I've been coming here for years and I'm going to continue coming here for years to come.
The Mongolian grill is awesome. The flavors are good and the services okay. I would prefer shorter wait times on the grill items.
Great food, great atmosphere! I love the assortment of everything. My one request would be to mark things clearer.
The food was so good! I did the Mongolian grill which had a good selection of veggies, sauces, and meats. Grilling was fast so another plus there. The service was really good and our server cane and checked on us regularly. My only issue was with the parking. There's a lot behind the building and it's a really tight squeeze. Like really tight. Next time I'll probably pay for a spot on the road rather than squeeze in there again.
This spot sure knows how to take care of their customers. Regularly with a very welcoming attitude. The food is affordably priced, regularly tasty and neat.
So disappointed. I was served cold it was a vegetable and shrimp with rice and chow mein. It came to be cold the bottom of the fight was warm and the food what's cold. It look good but it was cold. They brought me back a second plate this time it had all vegetables and I had four small shrimps. The waiter never came and check on us suffer at the end to fill our drinks and give us the bill I will never eat at this restaurant again. What's one of my favorite place to go downtown to eat
Food is great and it has a good atmosphere. Great to come and just hang out with some good friends. The dragon grill is a fun spin on getting your food personalized. It's all you can eat if you order the grill and the items they offer to grill with your noodles or rice are all fresh. Plus they offer plenty of different meats to go with your stir fry including seafood and all of your regular choices too. If you don't want the grill their regular menu items are also really good. I have been there a few times now and it's all been great. The service is friendly too. The only draw back is parking is hard to get to but the food is worth the work.
They need to provide safer parking for their patrons. One way parking on a bridge.... Not safe.
Love this build your own stir fry or order off the menu. There stir fry is there best.
Love this place! $13.99 for the Dragon Grill is the best way to go! So delicious! Pick your ingredients, rice, noodles, veggies, meats, leave it on the chef's counter and they bring it right to you. Don't forget to show your appreciation to the chefs and leave a tip on their counter! The Food and Staff are always great. Bathrooms could use some work and tables and seats as well.
Great food for a good price. I will have to go back and try out the all you can eat grill at a later point.
The walnut shrimp and imperial chicken are legit. This place is great.
This place is great for large crowds, or even just a date night. What I really liked about this place was the Mongolian style buffet, but you don’t have to wait until your food has been cooked. You’ll just drop off what you had put together, and once it’s done cooking it’s brought back to your table.
I ordered the Imperial Chicken the fried rice. It is part of the daily lunch special. The food was pretty good, the service was also fair. Unfortunately, this place seems a little bit forgotten and dirty. If you go at night, the dim lighting will help you ignore the grime.
Don't let the cover of the book deter you; Charlie Chows is a local favorite with some incredibly prices and authentic (not to mention tasty) Chinese fare available for dine in or take out. The special treat, however, is in the "Mongolian" style buffet. If you aren't familiar with this, do yourself a favor and head in to the Dragon Grill to discover it; with vegetarian and plentiful meat options both, it's a great place to try different flavors of Chinese cuisine at a great price and a convenient location for SLC townies.
This place is fantastic. The service is friendly and informative—they saw my confused look about how the Dragon Buffet worked and explained it to me. I’ve been searching SLC for a place like this! PARKING: Enter garage from 300 East.
It was alright, I wouldn't choose this place for a special night out or anything. But it did have good sweet and sour pork. The chow mien was just salty ramen noodles, so I don't recommend it unless salty ramen noodles is your thing. Honestly though, I think I would have been happier with good ole Panda Express, it's cheaper too.
Great fresh food, best mongolian food we have had. Good customer service.
Get the all you can eat Mongolian buffet. As long as you have enough sauce the meal is very good. 8 scoops of liquid is enough. The staff is basically non existing and doesn't bother you while you eat. Come here with a large party or small group and they will satisfy.
The dragon grill is always amazing. Can't wait to go back
We had an extraordinary in this restaurant. We loved the extraordinary atmosphere and the menu. The staff were super personal. I’m happy we ultimately decided to try this restaurant.
Good Asian Grill Spot. All you can eat, I had the Mongolian grill. Nice fresh ingredients, staff is excellent and attentive. This is my first time here, I live and work in Murray. I'll be back here though this is a very good lunch option.
Great and amazing food. I enjoyed our meal. But, kept Atari g at this dragon painting... He seems to be very excited to have his red ball back
I've been here twice so far and both experiences have been wonderful! Each time I ordered the all-you-can-eat grill. They've got a lot of delicious ingredients to put in your bowl and have something for everybody. Then they cook it up and it's absolutely delicious. Highly recommend getting the egg if you eat them.At the end of the meal they give you chocolate-dipped fortune cookies!Being able to order some beer with it is just a plus. Can't wait to go back again!
Fun. Clean all you can eat grill. Make it how you like it and it it's fried for you and bright to your table.
I absolutely love this restaurant! The staff is kind and friendly, and all of the food on the menu is great. However if you really want to have fun, order the dragon grill. Figuring out that perfect combination is a great adventure and makes coming back easy.
Excellent choices/options on the "Mongolian Grill" aspect. More choices ingredient wise than others I have visited. Used their "Charlie's Sauce" and it was killer. I opted for the egg noodles as my base, and wish I could have are more. Great pricing as well. It was a little cold inside (it may be winter, but I like to be warm when inside), kept our coats on through all of dinner.
First time here and I was a bit unsure what to do, but they showed us how to get going and my dish ended up being so delicious! Their customer service was also excellent! Our waitress was right on top of drinks and cleaning. The staff all seemed very happy and helpful.
The service here was great even though they were very busy. Walnut Shrimp, Chow Mein, Lemon Chicken, and Potstickers were all amazing the Pork fried rice is probably the best I have had. Parking can be a bit tight there is a small garage of of 300 east directly behind it. That is the only downside to this place. Other than that it's a perfect place to get Chinese food.
I constantly stop getting some food here. I like the speedy service and well cooked food. Keep up the good work.
Love this place. We have been coming here for years. Mongolian type grill. The vegetables are always fresh. Lots of choices on rice and noodles. Huge selection of meats.
I had the chefs special honey walnut shrimp. It had a lovely tempura batter with a sweet cream sauce. It was pretty good! The fortune cookies were dipped in chocolate. I hadn't seen that before! Great place to grab as late bite, they close at 10. For those ready to grub they have an all you can eat Mongolian grill too. 😊😊
Good food. We went for the grill. You can pick whatever you want including veggies, meat, sauces and spices. Tasted really good. Ambience not so great. You have option to order from menu also.
I take my family to this great restaurant quite a bit! This is the best place to to have a good dinner. I go there at least once a month. The cooking is very tasty, the crew is friendly and the price is affordable. I like going in this place for a good dinner.
First time going. Waitress showed how the all you could eat worked. Food really good went back 3 times. Maria was incredible as a waitress and server. Will definitely be going back again.
Pretty solid buffet options - I've only used it as a vegetarian option. Entrees and sides are pretty good too. Overall food is pretty good, but there isn't anything too unique or special to set them apart.
I was really confused by the high reviews of this place. Was looking for some ambient Asian music while we chow down some delicious food. The egg drop soup was tasty but was definitely on the sweet side, probably due to the corn. The sesame chicken wasn't the greatest. While the texture and uniformity of the cooked meat was consistent, the flavor was bland. My wife chose the pad Thai and she didn't think it was pad Thai but some other dish. Our waiter messed up the soup order but I wasn't surprised. The atmosphere here around the staff seemed somewhat high anxiety and less personable. We were satisfied with the proportions. All in all, it was OK.
Busy both times I've gone, but still really good food. The all you can eat is great! And the waite staff is good!
First time here. Great selection and hot delicious food. Parking is in the back. Took us 10 minutes to find the parking structure behind the church. Park on the second level.
Very fun and good on the budget. All you can eat lunch buffet. Delicious.
Best food and service!
Fantastic Mongolian BBQ with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The ingredients tasted fresh, the sauces are varied and delicious. They even hand dip their fortune cookies in chocolate! I highly recommend stopping by this unassuming restaurant.
Favorite restaurant in Utah. It comes down to this: how good are you at building an amazing food combo on the dragon grill? Arlene used to show us a few tricks with the sauces. We miss her!I dare you to go there! So friggn delicious!
Charlie Chow's is a great place for large groups, because there's a little something for everyone. Our group has a few different taste preferences and Charlie Chow's has it covered. A couple of us decided to go with the firecracker shrimp, and the other people decided to do the grill for lunch. No matter what you have to make sure to get a chocolate dipped fortune cookie on the way out.
Love the Dragon Grill! Wide selection of veggies meats and by far the broadest choices in seasonings of anywhere I've eaten. Six different meats available, 15 differnt sauces as well as curry and pepper powders. Eat it straight off the place or fill your own lettuce wraps.
Hole in the wall, not gonna win prizes for cleanliness, but raw egg in the lineup was a huge plus! Nice sauce selection/variety and kinda nice that all the meats aren't out in buffet access, that the cooks manage that... Had really great plate after plate. Good flavors.
It's good for a lunch. I enjoy the ability for the grill option or off the menu. The build your own meal and meat options are specific but enough that you'll find what you want or something similar. If you're looking for something a little different but too adventurous it's worth checking out.
This is one out of very few go to places for my family. Especially when we have bigger groups, Charlie Chows always is accommodating! If you've never been, you have to go & try it, you can thank me later!
Good Mongolian place in slc. Good service and good food. If you're making one from the grill, just put lots of sauce. 😁
I absolutely love this place... I hope they open again REAL SOON. Everyone else has awful food
